Previously, Cloud 9 Adventures announced the return of its “Vote to the Boat” campaign, a resurgence in the fan-nominated system for festival inclusion on Jam Cruise 21, Feb. 14-19. After receiving over 200 entries and mulling potential band inclusions with a team of promotors, music journalists, artists, and music industry professionals, the list has been narrowed to 21 potential performers. The task of landing a finalist has been handed over to fans. Voting is open now, October 9, through Sunday, October 13, at 11:59 p.m. E.T.
Folks can vote for who they would like to join the 2025 artist lineup on the forthcoming iteration of the floating festival from a list that includes Banshee Tree, Big Shrimp, Dizgo, DJ Williams Bands, Dustbowl Revival, Electric Kif, ElephantProof, Eminence Ensemble, Ernie Johnson From Detroit, The Fritz, Funk You, The Get Right Band, Guavatron, The Jauntee, Jimkata, Mungion, Sexbruise?, Space Bacon, SQWERV, Yam Yam and Yarn.
After Sunday’s voting window surpasses, the top eight bands will advance to the finals. The final ballot will only be available to guests booked on Jam Cruise 21.
The impending event will set sail from Miami on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, with planned stops in Cozumel, Mexico, and Belize City during the five-night experience. Previous, the folks disclosed the formal list of musicians that have already signed on to participate and perform; STS9, Snarky Puppy, Thievery Corporation, Galactic Ft. Jelly Joseph, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, LP Giobbi, Tank and the Bangas, Summer Zen (featuring Steve Kimock, George Porter Jr., Robert Walter, Lebo and John Morgan Kimock), ALO, Dragon Smoke and more.
