Albuquerque Police arrest suspected sexual predator wanted in Wyoming

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) –  A suspected sexual predator wanted on charges in Wyoming was arrested in Albuquerque Thursday morning, according to Albuquerque Police.

APD detectives received an alert from law enforcement in Wyoming that Jacob Anthony Wilbur was in Albuquerque. He was arrested during a traffic stop on 39 felony charges in Wyoming, APD said.

News: Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office charges pair with elder abuse

Those charges include 22 counts of sexual abuse of a minor, 14 counts of sexual exploitation of children, two counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor, and one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

APD said a gun was located in Wilbur’s vehicle and his hotel room. He was booked today into the Metro Detention Center.
