Liam Gallagher Confirms There Will Be No Oasis Reunion Interviews

In upsetting news for the press, Liam Gallagher has confirmed that he and his brother, Noel Gallagher, won’t participate in any interviews leading up to the highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour next year.

Responding to a fan on X (formerly known as Twitter) as he often does, Liam shared a candid response as to why he and his brother won’t be doing any interviews, writing: “We don’t want to do interviews coz we’re scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship.”

In another answer, he said that he simply “can’t be arsed” with joint interviews with Noel. A fan wrote, “Fans, we must acknowledge that Liam and Noel’s relationship > Oasis as a band. Their relationship has been marked by estrangement for years, and we must note that the media contributed to their tensions.” In response to that post, Liam wrote, “RESPEK.”

In other posts, Liam Gallagher wrote that the media “isn’t getting” a press conference and “we’re not doing any” joint interviews.

Last month, fans quizzed Liam about his reunion with Noel, asking if he would still “tweet shit,” to which he answered, “Nope, it’s all done. Peace has prevailed. He’s the man. I can’t wait to be on stage with him, blowing him kisses in between each song.”

Someone else asked if Noel was “still a potato,” to which Liam replied, “No, he is bloody well not. I won’t have a bad word said about that gorgeous, talented young man.”

Just days after the reunion announcement in August, Noel Gallagher was approached by a child (who was holding a teddy bear) who asked why he had fallen out with his brother.

He answered, “Why did I fall out with him? Cos he stole my teddy bear… He stole it in 1978.”

In October and November 2025, Oasis will make their long-awaited return to Australia – their first shows down under in 20 years – playing in Melbourne and Sydney as part of their historic 2025 reunion tour. This morning, extra dates were added to the tour.
