The hit series is currently in its 4th season featuring Mabel, Oliver, and Charles investigating another intriguing threat in Arconia. While fans have been invested in the Sazz Pataki murder storyline, their attention just got diverted to Gomez making her best friend’s reference.

Only Murders in Building S0407, titled “Valley of the Dolls,” features the crime podcast trio leaving behind New York City to hide out somewhere else. Away from Arconia, they take refuge at Charles’ younger sister Doreen’s staten island home.
Further, Mabel, Oliver, and Charles get seated in the living room to plan their next course of action. This moment particularly draws the attention of fans, who observe Mabel sitting beside a life-size doll. Surprisingly, the doll appears similar to Taylor Swift as she sported blonde hair with bangs and red lipstick. Moreover, she also donned an outfit with no. 87, which in fact is Kelce’s jersey number for the Kansas City Chiefs.
While this subtle reference might not hold any significance for the episode, it might have just teased a mere possibility of Swift’s appearance in future seasons. In an interview with E! News, Gomez hasn’t fully dismissed the possibility of a potential Swift cameo in the future. She just quipped that the “Love Story” singer is “a little busy” now.
Gomez and Swift instantly clicked during the Jonas Brothers’ dinner date in 2008 and have been good friends ever since.
