African American Performing Arts Center hosts upcoming production

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The African American Performing Arts Center (AAPAC) promotes the visual and performing arts that support the African American Culture. The Center also scholastic and technological programs to help advance African Americans in the community.

The AAPAC is hosting its latest production, August Wilson’s “Jitney”. The play is set in Pittsburgh in the 1970’s and the basis of the play is around the experiences of African American cab drivers in that era. Performances will be June 28 and 29 at 7 p.m. at the AAPAC. To purchase tickets, click here.
