ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Coin Club is the largest coin club supports numismatic education for its members and the public. Former club president Phil Vitale spoke about rare or unique coins and finding out what these coins are worth.
Typically the worth of a coin is based on four factors: condition, rarity, demand and what it’s made of. Some of these factors can be researched online, but others may require an expert to determine. Once someone is able to determine the worth of their coin, its up to them to decide if they want to keep the coin or sell it.
