Police say they received a call for a domestic dispute with the caller reporting her ex-boyfriend, David Quintana, was outside the residence and threatened to kill her. When officers arrived on scene they found Quintana, who was away from the residence, and fled when officers tried to apprehend him. APD says Quintana then broke into a residence and barricaded himself inside.

APD activated its SWAT unit and Quintana was taken into custody. Quintana had active felony warrants and faces new charges including breaking and entering and evading an officer.
