We create life.” Searchlight Pics has revealed the official trailer for Nightbitch, the latest feature film from acclaimed director Marielle Heller (of The Diary of a Teenage Girl, Can You Ever Forgive Me?, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood). This is premiering at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival which kicks off this week, hence the new trailer arriving now just in time for the festival. It’s set to hit theaters in December later this year. 🐕 A woman pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mom, but soon her domesticity takes a surreal turn – it’s based on the best-selling novel written by Rachel Yoder. In the film, Amy Adams stars as Mother, and Scoot McNairy plays Husband. The cast also includes Arleigh Patrick Snowden, Emmett James Snowden, Zoë Chao, Mary Holland, Archana Rajan, and Jessica Harper. This absolutely totally vicious & hilarious – a parable about motherhood with a story about a woman turning into a dog at night. Yeah I trust Marielle Heller & Amy Adams – I’m down for this.
