Ever since Ananya Panday’s Call Me Bae was announced last year, fans have eagerly awaited its release date. Now, Amazon Prime Video has finally revealed when the show will be available to stream on its platform, and it’s soon.

Fans can now mark their calendars! The new series, Call Me Bae, featuring Ananya Panday, will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from September 6, 2024. The streaming giant and Ananya Panday made this announcement on Instagram. Sharing a brand new poster of the actor, with the caption, “Update your calendars, things are about to glow up! #CallMeBaeOnPrime, Sept 6.”
Call Me Bae introduces Ananya Panday as Bella “Bae” Chowdhary, marking her debut in the streaming world’s series section. For all those wondering what the upcoming series will be about, Amazon Prime Video has given a sneak peek. “Call Me Bae is the story of Bae. Who upon being downsized from heiress to hustler, discovers that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai. Finding beaus, behens, and her better self, ” shared the streaming giant.
This 8-part series features Ananya Panday, Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Varun Sood. Furthermore, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur round up the ensemble. It is a Dharmatic Entertainment production. The series is backed by executive producers Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra. It is directed by Collin D’Cunha.
For those unaware, Ananya Panday was last seen in the Netflix film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, where she played the role of Ahana Singh. Now, following Call Me Bae, Panday is gearing up to appear in upcoming films like Control and Shankara and will also make a cameo in Bad Newz.
