Congratulations are in order as Thai actors Both Nattapong Chinsoponsap and Newyear Kitiwhut Sawutdimilin recently announced they are getting married. June 2024 is a historic month for Thailand as the country’s Senate passed the marriage equality bill. It became the first country in Southeast Asia to recognize same-sex marriage.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Both and Newyear took to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to share stunning photos of the dreamy proposal. The former popped the question with a dazzling Tiffany & Co. engagement ring. The caption revealed that Both went down on his knee and asked, “Will you marry me?,” to which Newyear answered, “I said yes from the first day we met.”

Both Nattapong, 36, and Newyear Kitiwhut, 29, have been together for nearly 12 years after first meeting in 2012. The nation’s favorite couple has been open about their relationship for many years. In May 2016, the pair launched their joint YouTube channel, BothNewyear Official. The channel has 544K subscribers at the time of writing. From trip vlogs to fun Q&As and more, the channel shows glimpses of the couple’s lives. Furthermore, Both and Newyear held their first fan meet in 2017.

The couple also explored the world of content creation on their joint YouTube channel.
