Badlands’ release date could arrive by late 2025 at the earliest.
In early June 2024, various outlets announced that a new Predator movie, titled Badlands, was in development at 20th Century Studios. This is a different project from the much-animated sequel to the 2022 film Prey.
Elle Fanning, the star of the Hulu series The Great, is reportedly in negotiations to appear in the film. Dan Trachtenberg, who helmed Prey, will direct the project from a script he penned with Patrick Aison. If Badlands goes into production by the end of this year, it can come out in late 2025 at the earliest.
This date is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing. Furthermore, no information is available on the other potential cast members of Badlands.

Badlands is anticipated to come out in theaters or on Hulu in late 2026 at the earliest.
