Ballot Opens For 2025 Golden Plains Festival

Ballot Opens For 2025 Golden Plains Festival

Golden Plains Festival will return to the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre in Meredith, Victoria, over the Labour Day weekend in Victoria next March. As Golden Plains season is on its way, so is ticket availability, with the ballot for next year’s event now open.

Next year’s Golden Plains will take place from Saturday, 8 March, to Monday, 10 March, for a long weekend of music, nature and community.

The ballot for Golden Plains XVII is now open to all interested punters and remains the best way to score tickets to next year’s festival. You can enter the ballot via the Golden Plains Festival website anytime before 10:17 pm on Monday, 14 October.

As a press release states, “The line-up comes up when the ballot draws out,” so stay tuned for more information as it arrives.

Golden Plains remains the “right size, right shape” and continues to host zero commercial sponsors, holds free range camping, BYO, a no dickhead policy, and, as always, is one stage fits all.

Of course, there are no clashes with the one stage, just good vibes. However, the 2024 edition was hampered by a record-breaking heatwave, so here’s hoping Golden Plains 2025 is much less hot.

This year’s Golden Plains festival, its sweet 16th, starred the likes of The Streets, Yussef Dayes, King Stingray, RVG, Black Country, New Road, Wednesday, Regurgitator, Elsy Wameyo, and many more.

In a review of the event for The Music, writer Noah Redfern said, “Overall, Golden Plains was one of the best festivals of the decade so far. Make sure to make the trip up to Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre as soon as you can for either of its festivals for a guaranteed hell of a weekend of love and music.”
