The BBC has announced its coverage plans for Glastonbury Festival 2024 – you can find all the details below.
This legendary Worthy Farm event will take place between June 26-30, with Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA due to headline the Pyramid Stage. Other confirmed acts include Shania Twain, LCD Soundsystem, Little Simz, The National, Avril Lavigne, The Last Dinner Party, Jungle, Justice, Bloc Party, Fontaines D.C., Yard Act, Arlo Parks and Gossip.

Today (May 30), the BBC – Glasto’s exclusive broadcast partner – has shared details of its “longest celebration of the festival yet” across TV, BBC iPlayer, radio and BBC Sounds.
Fans who weren’t lucky enough to bag a ticket for Glasto ’24 will be able to enjoy “over 90 hours of live performances from the five main stages on BBC iPlayer, extensive coverage on TV [and] 90 hours of radio broadcasts live from the festival”.
Viewers can access live-streams of The Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Woodsies and The Park stages in Ultra High Definition.
Clara Amfo, Jack Saunders, Jo Whiley and Lauren Laverne will present the main TV coverage this year. Other hosts across the BBC include Huw Stephens, Cerys Matthews, Craig Charles, Danny Howard and Zoe Ball.
The new additions to the schedule for 2024 include the Glastonbury Channel II on iPlayer, as well as a series of 30-minute TV specials from the likes of Dua Lipa and Coldplay on BBC Two.
BBC Sounds is set to house further coverage, featuring special episodes of Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw‘s Sidetracked podcast – which will begin weekly from Monday June 3. A bonus edition, Glastonbury According To Sidetracked, will be available after the event.

Following a weekend of performances across the BBC’s TV channels, BBC Two will round-up the best bits of Glastonbury 2024 with a highlights show.
The full TV schedule from Saturday June 22 to Friday June 28 June will be announced on Wednesday June 12, and the TV schedules from Saturday June 29 June to Friday July 5 will be confirmed on Wednesday June 19.
Additionally, The One Show will broadcast live from Worthy Farm on the first full day of music (Friday June 28).
In the run-up to the gates opening, the Classic Glastonbury Channel on iPlayer will stream sets from previous years – such as Elton John, Kylie Minogue and Ed Sheeran. This is due to go live on Monday June 10.
The Glastonbury Highlights Channel, meanwhile, is “for those wanting to catch up on the sets they missed, or to relive those memorable moments they experienced in the field”. Fans can tune in to this stream from Monday July 1 to Sunday July 14.

This year’s radio coverage includes live broadcasts from Lauren Laverne on 6 Music – which will be airing 54 hours of live shows from Worthy Farm. On Radio 1, Jamie Laing and Vick Hope will roam the site to find the best Glasto stories.
Radio 2’s Jo Whiley will preview and broadcast Shania Twain’s Pyramid Stage legends slot on Sunday June 30, with Coldplay’s headline set airing on the station the previous evening (June 29).
Lorna Clarke, BBC Director of Music, said: “The BBC’s coverage of Glastonbury is one of the biggest jewels in the BBC’s pop crown and we’re evolving our programming to bring audiences many ways to enjoy the festival across our platforms – it’s their Glastonbury on the BBC.
“This year will see the debut of Glastonbury Channel II, a welcome addition to our multiple BBC iPlayer streams, giving viewers a rolling round-up of the key moments from each day.”
Clarke continued: “We’re also proud that for the second year, Pyramid Stage – Signed returns, with performances from Glastonbury’s most iconic stage in British Sign Language, bringing the Glastonbury experience closer to all viewers.
