BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Wednesday morning for Bernalillo County’s new Young Adult Program at the CARE Campus.
The program will help young adults aged 18 to 25 who are facing behavioral health challenges, including substance use disorders. The program will also provide individualized care through a range of services, including counseling, life skills training, and peer support, to guide clients toward stabilization and recovery.

Bernalillo County officials cut the ribbon on the county’s new Young Adult Program at the CARE Campus, a significant milestone in expanding behavioral health services for young adults aged 18 to 25.
Admission is based on a first-come, first-served basis, and referrals are accepted from health providers, community organizations, or self-referrals.
For individuals who may need detoxification services before entering the program, the CARE Campus also offers a social detox program with medication-assisted treatment available.
