We all know its greatness, but Beyond The Valley has officially been named one of the best music festivals in the world.
The one Australian event to make it to long-running UK publication DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals List, Beyond The Valley has landed at #92. We know it’s too low, but we’re just stoked to see an Australian music festival land so high on the prestigious list.
Unfortunately, Beyond The Valley didn’t receive a blurb from the writers as it’s outside the Top 20, but knowing that the fan-voted, record-breaking number of votes got a humble Aussie festival in the Top 100 is awesome.

The 2023 edition of Beyond The Valley, which took place from 28 December to 1 January 2024, was a huge success. Festival organisers revealed that the event had witnessed “record-breaking sales.”
Australia’s largest multi-day camping festival, Beyond The Valley boasted a line-up that included RÜFÜS DU SOL, Peggy Gou, Central Cee, FERG, Destroy Lonely, and more.
Promoters shared that 70,000 people signed up for pre-sale tickets, and all camping tickets sold out within a week.
“We are over the moon to see such strong results for Beyond The Valley. It’s been an amazing journey witnessing the evolution from its inception back in 2014 and seeing it grow to what it is now,” said festival organisers Untitled Group, who also deliver Pitch Music & Arts, Wildlands, Grapevine Gathering, Ability Fest and more.
“This year is going to be our biggest year ever, proving that the hunger for live music and the immersive camping festival experience is as in high demand as ever.”
Earlier this year, Sydney nightclub Home The Venue made DJ Mag’s coveted Top 100 Clubs of 2024 list.
Landing at #78, Home The Venue ended up being the only Australian space to make the cut.
The 2,500-capacity club is home to three floors of live music, light shows, wall art and waterfront outdoor dining areas along Sydney’s Darling Harbour. In DJ Mag’s blurb, Home The Venue was described as a “purpose-built superclub” serving Sydney punters for over 20 years.
The DJ Mag blurb continued, “One of only a few Australian venues to ever make the Top 100 Clubs poll, its music policy is suitably broad, with D&B and UKG rubbing shoulders with reggaeton, hard dance and even a male revue show.
“Fedde Le Grande was amongst the stars who also passed through in 2024, closing Home’s Mardi Gras celebrations. Homemade, the club’s in-house Saturday night, offers mini-festival vibes every week over four rooms. And for those who don’t want to stop, Morning Glory takes advantage of the location for a stunning sunrise session.”
