The final battle came down to Manbeck and Baham with the latter crowned as the winner receiving the maximum votes. With Baham claiming the crown, she won the cash prize of $ 750,000.
Further, the show shifted its focus to name the season’s favorite houseguest. Host Chen Moonves chose three contestants for the title of America’s Favorite Player. It was Quinn Martin, Angela Murray, and Tucker Des Lauriers. While the audience was eagerly looking forward to the announcement of the winner, it was up to the public to decide who among the three deserved the prestigious title. They were given three days to vote on the CBS’s official website for America’s Favorite Houseguest. As the public voting ended, the results were declared and Tucker Des Lauriers was announced as the winner. Following the announcement, Des Lauries walked away with a cash prize of $50,000.
The Marketing Sales executive felt humbled and further decided to thank the audience for their love and support. He stated, ”Thank you for understanding me. I hope I can inspire people to be confident in being themselves, whether you’re a goofy, wild, weird dude or not.”
This win was historic, as Tucker became the first non-juror and non-finalist to secure the title of America’s Favorite Houseguest. Despite his eviction on Day 45, Tucker left a lasting impression on the viewers.
