In the new ‘Nice Guy’ visual, the group prepare for work at a pizza parlour, bringing happy smiles to their customers. Later, they set off to make deliveries and dance in the streets as they make their way to each stop.

In addition to ‘Nice Guy’, BOYNEXTDOOR’s new record includes an English version of the single, alongside pre-release single ‘Dangerous’ and the songs like ‘Gonna Be a Rock’, ‘20’ and ‘Call Me’. According to the group, its title ‘19.99’ refers to the transition into adulthood just as one is about to enter their twenties.

“When I thought about turning 20, I felt both fear and pressure because I thought I had to mature quickly,” said member Woonhak per Yonhap News Agency. “I discussed these worries with the members and the agency’s producers, and such thoughts that only those our age can have were naturally incorporated into the album.”

The group added that they tried to incorporate their personal stories and experiences into their music. “Even when the tracks don’t contain direct personal experiences, we exert efforts to create music that can resonate with listeners in their 10s and 20s,” said member Taesan.

BOYNEXTDOOR debuted in May 2023 with their three-track single album ‘Who!’ under HYBE Labels’ KOZ Entertainment, which was founded by rapper and Block B member Zico.

In other K-pop news, Tomorrow X Together’s Yeonjun has announced the upcoming release of his first mixtape ‘GGUM’ later this month. It will mark the first time a member of the boyband has gone solo.
