Rumors have been circulating for a few days, so Microsoft has finally confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will arrive on Xbox Game Pass soon. Those with a Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, or Game Pass Ultimate subscription will be able to access the full game later this week.
When is the Modern Warfare 3 Xbox Game Pass release date?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will hit Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, July 24, on console and PC. Players can access the game’s single-player campaign, multiplayer modes, and open-world zombies mode, as well as all four seasons of updates already released.
The Season 5 update is also scheduled to be released tomorrow. This includes two new Multiplayer Core 6v6 maps, three cel-shaded map Variants, four free base weapons, six Aftermarket parts, two Battle Pass Operators, and a WWE superstar collaboration. Full patch notes for the update are yet to be released but Game Pass members will have access to these changes too.
Modern Warfare III is a surprise Game Pass release for July 2024 following the announced day-one releases of Dungeons of Hinterburg, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. At the time of writing, Microsoft doesn’t have any more games planned for Game Pass until August.
If rumors are to be believed, there may be one more stealth additions before the end of July. Renowned leaker eXtas1s leaked the Game Pass release date of Modern Warfare 3 earlier this week and also said that Valorant would be released on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 on July 26. He later claimed that this would be a secret day-one Game Pass drop. Only time will tell if this turns out to be true.
