Amidst a Snowstorm of Love is one of the most popular Chinese dramas in 2024. It features Zhao Jinmai and Wu Lei (Leo Wu) in the lead roles. Amidst a Snowstorm of Love tells the love story of Lin Yiyang (Leo Wu) and Yin Guo (Zhao Jinmai). After running into her during a blizzard, Yiyang falls head over heels in love with Yin Guo at first sight. Yin Guo is a professional nine-ball player. As two Chinese nationals in a foreign land, they quickly bond and eventually start to date. Yin Guo soon discovers that Yiyang is a genius snooker player who gave up on his dream after a misunderstanding with his coach.
Yin Guo takes it upon herself to fix his relationship with the coach and mend all his past traumas. For her sake, Yiyang returns to his old profession, and soon enough, he takes the snooker world by storm. Although they face many hurdles along the way, they overcome all difficulties, and at the end of the series, they get married.

Filming for Amidst a Snowstorm of Love took place in Helsinki, Finland’s southern capital. The drama covered some of the most alluring locations of the city. The snow-covered regions, the local pubs and food-chains, Helsinki Central Railway Station, Groovetown Jack Billiard Club, Eliel Square, local department stores, Hesburger etc. served as the backdrops of the drama and added a special touch to it.
