Chipotle Mexican Grill teams with Spirit Halloween on a costume collection

Napkins and plastic forks at Chipotle Mexican Grill aren’t just designed for the landfill. They’re inspiration for Spirit Halloween as well.

Chipotle has partnered with the holiday supply store on a collection of Halloween costumes. Designs include a burrito (a shiny silver bodysuit), fork, napkin, water cup and to-go bag.

The costumes are available online for $39.99 each but also in-store at one Spirit location in Southern California, according to a news release from the Newport Beach-based restaurant chain. The address is 1316 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica. It’s not in a strip mall. The building was formerly the Wilshire Theatre.

According to the news release, the idea began with a couple of fictitious Instagram postings about fork and napkin costumes that went up in 2022. Of course, Chipotle has uploaded videos of the real costumes.

Costumes range in size from adult small to XL.They’re made of polyester.
