City hosts Bosque cleanup with a twist

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Keep Albuquerque Beautiful and the Solid Waste Management Department are hosting a Bosque cleanup event with a twist.

Participants in the Dash for the Trash event will compete with one another to see who can collect the most litter while jogging or walking through the Bosque.

Prizes will be awarded to the individuals or groups who collect the most amount of litter along the designated trails.

The event will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to Noon at Central and Sunset (Valle De Atrisco Trail).
