Clovis police search for man accused of killing 16-year-old

CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – The Clovis Police Department is asking the public for help in locating 18-year-old Giovanni Brown-Johnson. He is accused of shooting and killing a 16-year-old Tuesday night.

Clovis Police say officers were called out around 11:30 p.m. to the Clovis Apartments at 1000 N. Martin Luther King to reports of shooting. Officers arrived on scene and officers found the 16-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital, where they later died. Investigators identified Brown-Johnson as the suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest.
