ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA) says a water main has broken near Avenida Cesar Chavez and Walter SE. Some homes and businesses in the area may have water service temporarily cut off.
ABCQUA says crews are on-scene working to fix the issue. Motorists should avoid the area near Avenida Cesar Chavez between Broadway and I-25.
Officials say the break has caused the pavement to collapse in some areas. There is no estimated timeline for how long it will take to repair the water line.
