Crews set to begin pavement, striping project in Española

ESPAÑOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Transportation will begin a project on July 29 that includes new pavement and striping on a 3.1 mile stretch of N.M. State Road 68 in Española from mile marker 0 to 3.

Crews will work Monday – Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and work on the project is expected to last 21 working days. During working hours one lane will be closed and there will be a 12-foot width restriction. After working hours, the road will be reopen and traffic control devises will be removed. Motorists should expect delays in the area while crews work on the project.
