“Did he just hit me with a motorcycle? Now that’s just disrespectful.” Lionsgate has revealed the first trailer for an action thriller comedy called The Killer’s Game, directed by the stuntman turned filmmaker J.J. Perry (he also made the vampire film Day Shift with Jamie Foxx a few years ago). This will be landing in theaters in September after the summer season wraps – not a good sign. A veteran assassin is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness with limited time left and authorizes a kill on himself. After ordering the kill, an army of former colleagues pounce and a new piece of information comes to light – he’s not really going to die. Insanity ensues, of course, as usual when all the assassins come out of the woodwork. Dave Bautista stars as Joe Flood, known as “The Slugger”, who gets caught up in this mess. “Will the Slugger have what it takes to outrun the competition?” This also co-stars Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, with Pom Klementieff, and Ben Kingsley.
