RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) – The Disaster Recovery Center at the Mescalero library is ceasing operations. The disaster resource center will now be located at the Mescalero Community Center (108 Central Ave., Mescalero, NM) and will open on Saturday.
It will be run by New Mexico’s Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Case managers will be on-site to assist residents with recovery from recent wildfires and flooding. The center will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
