Star Wars fans might be wondering if Ki-Adi Mundi, a notable Jedi Master who was seen in the prequel trilogy and The Clone Wars animated series, appears in Star Wars: The Acolyte. In the epic space-opera franchise, Mundi was a member of the Jedi High Council during the final years of the Galactic Republic. He met his end as the Clone Wars concluded, following the execution of Order 66, where he was gunned down by the clone troopers who were supposed to guard him.

So, does Ki-Adi Mundi show up in The Acolyte? Here’s everything you need to know.

Does Ki-Adi Mundi appear in The Acolyte?

Ki-Adi Mundi has not appeared in Star Wars: The Acolyte as of Episode 2.

Since The Acolyte takes place roughly 100 years before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and the rest of the films in the franchise, it is unlikely that Ki-Adi Mundi will make an appearance in the series. Moreover, it is also plausible that Mundi may not have been born around the time of the events of The Acolyte.

Furthermore, in a recent interview with Comicbook.com, the show’s creator, Leslye Headland, mentioned that Yoda and other established characters would not be making an appearance and that the series would only use characters from the High Republic era and Expanded Universe (EU). Hence, this most likely means that even Ki-Adi Mundi would not be appearing in the show.
