My Hero Academia fans are asking if Himiko Toga dies in the manga or if she meets her demise in Season 7. Toga recently became a central character in MHA Season 7’s latest episode titled “A Girl’s Ego,” where she posed a great threat with her dangerous use of Twice’s Double quirk, leaving most of the pro heroes, except for Ochaco Uraraka (Uravity), out of their depth.

Himiko Toga is alive as of My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 20.
Much of Season 7 Episode 20 sees Himiko Toga and Ochaco Uraraka duke it out, both physically and emotionally. It dives deep into Toga’s complex backstory and focuses on her alienation from her parents and peers in her childhood and her struggles to keep her bloodlust at bay and be normal. It also focuses on her finding solace with the League of Villains as she wishes to be accepted for who she truly is, also explaining why she does not opt for a codename like her teammates Dabi and Twice.
Additionally, Uraraka tries to save Himiko on an emotional level and bring out the humanity in her. Uraraka seemingly succeeds in getting through Toga and redeeming her by opening up about her own feelings, why she became a hero, and how she fell in love with Izuku Midoriya (Deku).
Does Toga die in the MHA manga?
Himiko Toga dies at the end of My Hero Academia manga’s third last chapter, Chapter 428.
Toga dies following a near-death battle with Ochaco Uraraka. After many heavy attacks dealt against one another that wounded both of them, Toga, who suffered deep injuries, and Uraraka hit a truce of sorts, with the former succumbing to her wounds.
The rest of Chapter 428 then sees Uraraka coming to terms with Toga’s loss and struggling heavily. Uraraka, who is the only one who knows how her fight with Toga concluded, eventually breaks down in grief.
