Ahead of WWE SummerSlam, Liv Morgan was constantly pursuing Dominik Mysterio. Moreover, she had been trying to win Mysterio over by showing him why she was better than Rhea Ripley.
After weeks of playing games with Dominik Mysterio, he finally decided to betray his “Mami” at WWE SummerSlam. Not only did Dirty Dom help Liv Morgan in her match against Rhea Ripley, but he also rubbed it in Ripley’s face by kissing Morgan in front of her.
This shocking betrayal removed Rhea Ripley from The Judgment Day, as Dirty Dom added Liv Morgan to the faction. As Dominik Mysterio prepares for his mixed tag team match at the WWE Bash in Berlin, with Liv Morgan by his side, he will face Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Before the match, Dominik Mysterio revealed why he thinks Liv Morgan is a better on-screen partner than Rhea Ripley.
Dominik Mysterio opens up about Liv Morgan’s special quality
This Saturday at the WWE Bash in Berlin, Germany, Dominik Mysterio will compete in a major mixed tag team match alongside Morgan. Recently, Dirty Dom appeared on Peter Rosenberg’s Cheap Heat podcast and discussed Liv Morgan’s unique qualities. He highlighted the respect and acceptance she shows him, appreciating that she embraces him just as he is.
He stated, “[This relationship that you’re currently in with Liv you’d say is far superior to your previous one?] 100%. I just think the fact that there’s, you know, equal respect. She just kinda accepts me for who I am as far as like just chicken tender-loving, video game-playing, mustache-having, mullet-wearing, you know, it just, she accepts me.”
Now, it will be interesting to see what drama unfolds in this mixed tag team match. With Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley being outnumbered, it’s expected that the rest of The Judgment Day will get involved in the action.
