Donald Glover’s ‘Bando Stone & The New

Do you know how to set a trap?” “I can sing.” “You’re useless…” Childish Gambino + RCA Records have finally revealed an official trailer for the secret film titled Bando Stone & The New World, a brand new cinematic creation from Donald Glover. The film is directed & scored by Glover, who also goes under the name “Childish Gambino” when creating music. It’s also a promo for the release of his upcoming album – which will feature the song “Lithonia“, which is heard in this first trailer. Glover, who also directed a few episodes of his own TV series “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” & “Atlanta”, co-stars in this with Jessica Allain. He plays the titular Bando Stone who is found “trying to deliver mail in an abandoned town before crossing paths with one of the only other people around, played by Allain. The two decide to band together, along with Allain’s child, to survive monsters, dinosaurs, sci-fi lasers, and more.” Not much else is known about this for now – including whether it will play in theaters or debut online or what.
