The Elk Grove Village traffic unit are investigating an overnight two-vehicle crash that injured passengers and shut down an entire intersection, police said.
Shortly before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Elk Grove police were called out to the intersection of Biesterfield and Meacham roads for a two-vehicle crash with injuries, according to an Elk Grove Village Police Department release.
Police said all of the injured occupants were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The release said the entire intersection was closed until further notice while the traffic unit investigates.
