ComingSoon can exclusively debut a brand new clip from the upcoming third episode of the gameshow Lucky 13. The new episode will air on ABC tonight, August 8, 2024, at 9 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. New episodes will continue to be released on Thursdays and are then available to watch the following day on Hulu.
Lucky 13 is an ABC trivia gameshow hosted by Shaquille O’Neal and Gina Rodriguez. The show, which aired its first episode in July 2024, sees contestants answer 13 true-or-false questions while playing for a $1 million jackpot.
In the exclusive clip, a contestant named Brooklyn Lou introduces himself as a retired salesman from Brooklyn, New York. He tells O’Neal that he now does something he “thinks you’re very familiar with” and then proceeds to rap for the series’ hosts.

What is the Lucky 13 trivia gameshow about?
“Co-hosted by Shaquille O’Neal and Gina Rodriguez, Lucky 13 is a high-stakes primetime game show that’ll have viewers on the edge of their seats while shouting answers at their screens,” the synopsis for the series reads. “From the creative who introduced the world to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Lucky 13 tests contestants’ knowledge with 13 true-or-false trivia questions but with a cunning twist: Just how well do they know what they know … and, just as importantly, how well do they know what they don’t know? If they can accurately predict how successfully they’ve answered 13 questions, they could take home a $1 million cash jackpot.”
In addition to Brooklyn Lou, the third episode of the ABC gameshow features a contestant who is an advancement officer from Bismarck, North Dakota.
The first two episodes of Lucky 13 are now streaming on Hulu.
