Sydney-based alt-rock/metal band RedHook have signed with American independent record label Adventure Cat Records as they prepare the follow-up to their debut album, Postcard From A Living Hell, which they released independently last April.
Adventure Cat Records is the brainchild of Mike Kaminsky (original manager of bands Neck Deep and Tonight Alive) and Matt Clarke (manager of one of Australia’s hottest bands, Stand Atlantic).
An independent label from the artist management team at KMGMT, Adventure Cat Records has platformed successful artists, such as 3OH!3, Creeper, Neck Deep, Stand Atlantic, Tonight Alive, and more. Joining a diverse roster of rocking artists, including Against The Current and The Summer Set, RedHook seem to have found the perfect place for their music.
Matt Clarke, the GM of Adventure Cat Records, told The Music: “We are so excited to be signing RedHook to Adventure Cat. They’ve been one of the hottest breaking artists of the last few years in the scene, and we are looking forward to helping them to continue their trajectory on an international stage.

It’s been a busy year for RedHook so far. On Tuesday night (13 August), the band’s latest single, Pyromaniac, premiered on triple j. The new track follows a string of releases, including Cannibal with Alpha Wolf (released in June), Breaking Up With in April, and Scream 2 in February.
From the end of this month and into mid-September, RedHook will tour across the country in support of Breaking Up With. Joining them is a truly epic roster of local support acts: The Beautiful Monument, Eat Your Heart Out, and Patient Sixty-Seven.
