They said we couldn’t lead.” Prime Video has revealed the full official trailer for a sports documentary series titled Evolution of the Black Quarterback, getting ready to drop soon with the next NFL season kicking off this month. It’ll be streaming on Prime Video in a few weeks from now if anyone wants to watch. Produced by NFL Films in addition to SMAC Productions. The series follows retired NFL quarterback Michael Vick exploring the history of Black quarterbacks, celebrating progress and envisioning the future through interviews with influential Black QBs. Vick states: “I know that was a big step for us in society [when I got drafted]. I was always told that I revolutionized the quarterback position, but I also like to give credit to the ones who I idolized as a kid & paved the way like Randall Cunningham, Steve McNair and Donovan McNabb. When you look at the evolution of the Black quarterback, it’s because of the people that came before us.
