Quiver Distribution has dropped The Girl in the Pool trailer for the forthcoming thriller drama starring Freddie Prinze Jr. and Monica Potter. This marks the duo’s reunion movie after over two decades since starring in the rom-com movie Head Over Heels.
“On his birthday, Tom’s life collapses when his mistress is found dead in his pool. Terrified of the consequences, and desperate to protect his family, he conceals the truth, triggering a chaotic night that threatens to unravel his perfect life,” reads the synopsis.

What happens in The Girl in the Pool trailer?
The Girl in the Pool trailer features a man whose mistress suddenly dies in his family home’s pool. In a panic, he immediately hides the body within his property. However, things get more complicated when his wife surprises him with a birthday party, which jeopardizes his dark secret. The film is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters and on digital this Wednesday, July 26.
The film is directed by Dakota Gorman from a screenplay written by Jackson Reid Williams. It also stars Tyler Lawrence Grey, Gabrielle Haugh, and Kevin Pollak. Eric Brenner, German Michael Torres, RJ Collins, and Larry Greenberg are producing the project.
