Texas rapper Enchanting is dead at age 26. Gucci Mane confirmed the tragic news on Tuesday (June 11) amid reports of the artist being on life support.

Enchanting — born Channing Nicole Larry — signed to Gucci Mane’s New 1017 Records in 2020 before departing the record label last year.

“So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant @luvenchanting,” La Flare captioned the post featuring a photo of Enchanting rocking a pair of 1017 chains.

Most comments sent well-wishes to Enchanting, while some attempted to blame Gucci Mane for her death and tied him to the downfall of other 1017 affiliates. Guwop’s wife Keyshia Ka’Oir stepped in to defend her grieving hubby.

“Leave my husband alone,” she wrote. “He signs these artist to help them & give them a better life! I wish it wasn’t like this ! Chant we love you baby girl ! RIH.”

Luv Scarred/No Luv (Deluxe) served as Enchanting’s last album on 1017, which arrived in November 2022 and featured several collaborations with Gucci Mane such as “Big Chant,” “Large Amounts,” “Issa Photoshoot” and “No Love” alongside the late Big Scarr and Key Glock.

Enchanting affiliate Lil CJ Casino also paid homage to the late rapper with a heartfelt post to Instagram regarding her passing.

“They Pulled The Plug Bro This Shit So F—ed Up I Just Knew You was Finna Pull Threw @luvenchanting You gone Forever Be Stop6 Princess & Kasino First Lady,” he wrote. “They Don’t Know All Hours You Spent At The Kasino Studio Sleeping There Making Music Putting This Shit Together And You Went Way Further Than Us I Always Told You How Proud I Was Of You.”
