The June 28 appearance was his second at Worthy Farm, following his blockbuster debut in 2019 when he had his own set on the Wow stage. He also joined Dave during his now-viral performance to perform their gold-certified collaboration, ’18Hunna’.

Headie One – real name Irving Ampofo Adjei – kicked off his set with the seminal UK drill track while on stage today (June 28). A live band joined Adjei, his DJ JTK and his hypeman on stage would add grandeur to One’s blended melodic drill sound.

The North London star played some of his well-known UK rap classics like ‘Know Better’ as well as tracks from his latest album, ‘The Last One’ – which also was released today. While performing the Ultra Naté-sampling ‘Both’ from his mixtape ‘Music X Road’, a huge moshpit emerged in the crowd.

This prompted One to say he knows “the weather’s not great” but asked if the crowd “could turn up a little bit?” Then he performed his two biggest afroswing songs – his 2020 collaborations with Young T & Bugsey, ‘Princess Cuts’ and ‘Don’t Rush’.

After a heartfelt and emotive rendition of ‘I Could Rap’ and ‘Memories’ from ‘The Last One’, he played the Drake-assisted ‘Only You Freestyle‘ – to which he told the crowd, “I wanna see the energy all the way at the back”. His DJ chimed in, asking, “Where’s my energy crew at?”

Throughout his set, Headie and his hypeman kept on promoting ‘The Last One’. Nearing the end of his set, One told the crowd how proud he was of the record and called it “a masterpiece” when encouraging them to stream it.

Headie then closed his set with ‘Cry No More’, his recent track with Stormzy. Neither the pop-grime juggernaut nor any other collaborators joined him on stage for their verses.
