The series beat other popular Netflix K-dramas, including The Atypical Family, The 8 Show, and Queen of Tears, to rank 2nd on the chart. This is the first time the series has made it to the charts, promising tough competition to other K-dramas.
Hierarchy K-drama premiered on Friday, June 7, 2024, and was significantly discussed because of its storyline and characters. The drama stars Lee Chae-Min, Roh Jeong-Eui, and Kim Jae-Won in lead roles and ran for seven episodes. Now, some viewers hope for a second season, given how the drama ended with a plot twist.

The series follows the journey of scholarship student Kang-Ha, who enters the elite Jooshin High School to avenge his twin brother Kang In-Ha’s death. Meanwhile, a few rich students control the power and system at the school while holding dark secrets. These include Jeong Jae-Yi (Roh Jeong-Eui) and Jooshin Group heir Kim Ri-An (Kim Jae-Won).
As mentioned earlier, Hierarchy K-drama beat several notable Netflix shows like The Atypical Family, Queen of Tears, and The 8 Show, accumulating 3.5 million cumulative views. Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won’s Queen of Tears made it to a record-breaking 14th week on the charts, ranking ninth. Meanwhile, The Atypical Family jumped to Rank 3 on the charts, with 1.8 million views. Lastly, The 8 Show ranked sixth compared to Rank 2 in the previous week. It garnered 1.5 million cumulative views.
