Good news for Hozier fans across the country: The Irish singer-songwriter has added a new show in Perth and announced a venue upgrade in Adelaide.

Hozier will now perform two shows at Perth’s RAC Arena. The new show will kick off his upcoming Australian tour on Tuesday, 5 November. His previously announced concert in Perth will still occur on Wednesday, 6 November.

On Friday, 8 November, Hozier will still play in Adelaide, but he’s no longer performing at The Drive, with demand leading to a massive venue upgrade: fans can now see him at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

Elsewhere on the tour, Hozier has sold out five shows so far, with his two Summersalt appearances in Torquay and the Hunter Valley up to final tickets. The sold-out dates are Wednesday in Perth, two dates at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, and the shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena and Brisbane’s Riverstage.

General tickets for the new Perth show and Adelaide venue upgrade go on sale on Thursday, 4 July, at 3 pm local time. Two pre-sales will make tickets available before then, with the Mastercard pre-sale beginning at 1 pm on Monday, 1 July (find details here), and My Live Nation members can access tickets on Wednesday, 3 July, from 2 pm.

Hozier is touring in support of his third album, Unreal Unearth, released last August.

In an interview with The Music‘s Carley Hall, Hozier said of the broad scope of themes explored in Unreal Unearth:

Sometimes, they can be personal reflections, or maybe, at times, deeply personal reflections or experiences of past experiences. But once it’s done, and once it’s out in the world, it also belongs to everyone else. And the way I view it is if something resonates with you, it most likely is going to resonate with somebody else.
