Moreover, the project’s rights have also left Netflix and landed at another studio according to Hulk Hogan, who confirmed the same in an October 2023 Insight interview with Chris Van Vliet.
In the interview, Hogan attributed the project’s stagnant development to a “business-wise situation” where Netflix had “missed the date”. He also confirmed that his biopic rights were “somewhere else”. However, he did express his hopes that the project could still be made, noting that it had a “huge opportunity”.

Hemsworth said, “To work with Todd Phillips, who we discussed making that film with, would be an honor and a fantastic opportunity. I can’t say it’s officially happening yet. If there was a green light, I’d get to work on it.”
It remains to be seen whether the Hulk Hogan biopic will ever see the light of day. However, at the rate the project’s development is going, it wouldn’t be surprising if it got canceled.
