After moving the audience with his commendable acting in Sam Bahadur and Dunki, Vicky Kaushal is set to entertain everyone with the comedy-drama Bad Newz. The film is just a few weeks from its release, and its makers have finally unveiled its trailer. While the trailer gave a sneak peek into the plot, the film also teased some special details. Now, fans are wondering if the film will feature Katrina Kaif.
Besides Kaushal, Bad Newz also stars Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk in lead roles. The film is being made by the makers of Good Newwz. While Anand Tiwari is directing the project, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Amritpal Singh Bindra are producing it.

The trailer of Bad Newz revealed what the upcoming film will be based on. It introduces the female lead, who has been intimate with her ex-husband and boyfriend at the same time. When she finds out she is pregnant, she gets confused about who is the father of her child. It turns out that it is a case of Hetropaternal Superfecundation and both the leads are fathers of the baby.
This sparks a fight between the two fathers-to-be as they argue who is better. Amid this, Katrina Kaif makes a cameo through her photograph. When Ammy Virk fights with Vicky Kaushal about why he hung a picture of Katrina Kaif in the mother-to-be’s room, he warns him not to say anything about it. This is how Katrina Kaif has made a cameo in Bad Newz.
The actress also sent her best wishes to the Bad Newz team and her husband, Vicky Kaushal. Sharing the trailer on her Instagram story, she wrote, “Can’t waitttt for this… Congratulations.”
Bad News will arrive in the theaters on July 19, 2024.
