The beloved Korean reality show Jinny’s Kitchen is all set to return with its highly awaited season 2 on Amazon Prime Video. The second season will also see the return of popular South Korean actors Park Seo-Joon, Choi Woo-Shik, and Jung Yu-Mi, among others.
Prime Video has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming season on its social media channels on Monday, May 3, 2024. The trailer for Jinny’s Kitchen season 2 reveals that the new season will premiere at the end of this month.
Jinny’s Kitchen season 2: Release date, cast, location & more
As mentioned above, Jinny’s Kitchen season 2 will make its debut on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, June 28, 2024. In the first season, viewers saw several South Korean stars coming together as a team. They opened and successfully ran an authentic Korean street food restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico. The team included the restaurant owner, Lee Seo-Jin, executive Jung Yu-Mi, and the head of the kitchen, Park Seo-Joon. It also included interns Choi Woo-Shik and BTS member Kim Tae-Hyung, aka V.
Jinny’s Kitchen season 2 will take place in the capital of Iceland, Reykjavík. Most of the cast members from the first season will also star in the reality show’s upcoming season. Aside from Park Seo-Joon, Jung Yu-Mi, and Lee Seo-Jin, the cast also includes actor Choi Woo-Shik. However, Kim Tae-Hyung will not join the new season’s cast. The K-pop idol is currently serving in the South Korean military service.
Recently, actress and director Go Min-Si was added as an additional cast member for season 2. She is best known for acting in many notable K-dramas, including Youth of May, The Witch: Part 1, The Subversion, Sweet Home, Love Alarm, and more.
In the highly anticipated season, viewers will see the cast members opening a new restaurant in Reykjavík, Iceland, to serve spicy and warm Korean dishes.
