In a cheeky video posted on Wednesday (May 29), Siwa is seen sitting on the floor of a dance studio in black sweats while hyping up her team. “For the last few weeks the world has been f–king brutal. They’ve been talking so much s–t… but I don’t give a f–k,” Siwa says before shouting the title of her upcoming single, “Choose UR Fighter!”

If you listen closely you can hear the uptempo, new wave-sounding bop in the background, though no official release date has been announced yet for the track. Siwa’s caption for the post promised, “Ready or not… here it comes” and an accompanying image features Siwa rocking a glittery, futuristic outfit accessorized by bedazzled pink gloves. The singer’s official website has also been splashed with the song’s title and an old-school “content loading” bar.

The singer celebrated her 21st birthday on May 21 with a blow-out party at Disney World, sharing a tipsy video before things got super wild. “It’s my 21st birthday. I’m drunk as f— right now,” she said in a TikTok video in which she appeared to be in her kitchen, with bottles on bottles of alcohol arrayed on the counter behind her. Off-camera, a friend lobbed a piece of bread JoJo’s way, which Siwa picked up off the ground and ate.

“I got punched in the eye,” Siwa giggled into the camera while zooming in on a bump on her left eye. “It was really bad, but I’m OK,” she added while stumbling around.

In April, Siwa began rolling out her new look and attitude with the single “Karma.” But, after talking to Billboard about how she thought she basically invented “a new genre of music… it’s called gay pop.” The singer then clarified her controversial comment in a TMZ video in which she said, “I think I just want to make it more clear that gay pop is a genre. I am not the inventor of gay pop, for sure not. But I do want to be a piece of making it bigger than it already is. I Want to bring more attention to it.”
