Episode 2 of the brand-new romantic comedy K-drama Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale aired on TVING on Friday, May 31, 2024. In the episode, Shin Jae-Rim (Pyo Ye-Jin) finds out that Moon Cha-Min (Lee Jun-Young) is the owner of the social club and the one who will interview her for the job. Initially, due to their earlier misunderstanding, Moon Cha-Min did not offer Shin Jae-Rim the job.
However, later on, he changes his mind and hires Shin Jae-Rim for his grand club as he can not stop thinking about her. But soon, he regrets hiring her after realizing that she desires a Cinderella-like fairytale romance. Thus, the two have a drinking competition to decide whether to keep Shin Jae-Rim or not at the social club. Another highlight of the episode is Shin Jae-Rim meeting a woman, Ban Dan-A, who introduces herself as Moon Cha-Min’s fiancé.
Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale Episode 2: Lee Jun-Young surprisingly hires Pyo Ye-Jin
Episode 2 of Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale starts where the first episode ends. After their chaotic meeting at the stairs of the grand club, Shin Jae-Rim (Pyo Ye-Jin) learns that Moon Cha-Min (Lee Jun-Young) is none other than the club’s owner. She then meets him in the interview room. As expected, Moon Cha-Min insults and dismisses her due to their earlier banter and misunderstanding. Thus, initially, he does not hire her for his club.
However, after returning to his house, Moon Cha-Min is unable to keep the thoughts of Shin Jae-Rim out of his mind. He keeps thinking about their chaotic moment at the stairs. Thus, the next day, he decides to call her and offer her the job at his club. Shin Jae-Rim is ecstatic after hearing the news. However, on her first day, she unknowingly makes a huge blunder. While playing a game with the other employees and Moon Cha-Min, she lets them know that she secretly desires a Cinderella-like fairytale romance for herself. Thus, Moon Cha-Min again decides to let her go.
Towards the end of Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale episode 2, Shin Jae-Rim insists on getting another chance. She asks Moon Cha-Min to compete with her in a drinking game. If she wins, she will get the job. She is a fierce competitor and, thus, easily wins the game and secures the job. However, after drinking so much, she needs to go to the bathroom immediately. At that moment, Moon Cha-Min helps her by carrying her to the washroom. After that, Shin Jae-Rim realizes that Cha-Min is not a bad person.
At the end of the episode, while walking with Cha-Min, Jae-Rim meets another woman, Ban Dan-A, who introduces herself as Cha-Min’s fiancé. By the look on Cha-Min’s face at that time, it is quite clear that he is not comfortable with the situation. The episode ends right there.
