Twenty Five Twenty One follows the story of two individuals, Na Hee-Do (Kim Tae-Ri) and Baek Yi-Jin (Nam Joo-Hyuk). As a high school fencing team member, Hee-Do aspires to join the national fencing team. However, due to the IMF crisis, the team disbands. She works hard to get into the national fencing team.
During this time, she meets Yi-Jin, who sells newspapers for a living after his family is left penniless due to the crisis. Eventually, Hee-Do becomes a successful fence, and Yi-Jin becomes a reporter, but at the cost of something special. The drama premiered on February 12, 2022, and is available on Netflix.
