TWICE star Nayeon is all set to make her first solo comeback with her new album NA. The K-pop star’s music label JYP Entertainment has shared a sneak peek of the album’s tracklist and teaser of the title track, “ABCD.”
After gaining popularity as a star performer of TWICE, Nayeon made her solo debut on June 24, 2022, with the self-titled EP. The album reached number 1 on the Circle Album Chart with over half a million unit sales in the first week of its release. It also showed Nayeon’s global impact by ranking seventh on the US Billboard 200.
Nayeon’s NA album: Tracklist & ‘ABCD’ MV teaser trailer out
JYP Entertainment has finally revealed the tracklist of TWICE Nayeon’s NA album, which will contain seven tracks. The tracklist also teases featured artists who collaborated with Nayeon on the new album, including Sam Kim, AKMU’s Chanhyuk, and Kiss Of Life’s Julie.
The tracklist of Nayeon’s NA features:
“ABCD”
“Butterflies”
“Magic” featuring Julie of KISS OF LIFE
“Heaven” featuring Sam Kim
“Something”
“HalliGalli” featuring Chanhyuk of AKMU
“Count It”
Along with the tracklist reveal, JYP has also shared a glimpse of the title track “ABCD” MV. The music video depicts a black-and-white Audrey Hepburn-esque world where Nayeon, dressed as a vintage starlet, dances with jazzy tunes in the background.
The music video teaser takes inspiration from the 1900s black-and-white era films. From the teaser hint, it is safe to assume that the album will have more retro elements. Nayeon’s new mini album NA will be released on June 14, 2024, at 1 p.m. KST/ 12 a.m. ET/ 5 a.m. BST/ 6 a.m. CET.
Meanwhile, Nayeon’s previous album, Im Nayeon, was a classic celebration of bubblegum pink, a genre that the K-pop star aced brilliantly. The catchy tunes and the spontaneous energy of the tracks made the album an instant favorite of listeners.
Nayeon also got numerous accolades for her performance at the year-end shows. The K-pop diva earned the Best Female Artist award at the 2022 MAMA Awards. She also received nominations for her title tune, “Pop!” in the Best Song and Best Dance Performance Solo categories.
