Trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently revealed details about the advance bookings of Kalki 2898 AD. Adarsh confirmed that the pre-sales seem promising in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The 4:30 am IST show in Hyderabad almost sold out within minutes.
As per Sacnilk, the film has already sold over 300,000 tickets worth a whopping $1.1 million. The Telugu version of the movie has sold the highest number of tickets. The number has crossed 294,000.
Kalki 2898 AD is not just popular in India; it’s also trending in North America. The movie has reportedly made over $2 million there. Additionally, Nag Ashwin’s film is set to be shown in over 210 IMAX screenings.
Kalki 2898 AD revolves around the events of Mahabharat and Kali Yuga. Moreover, the director has described it as a sequel to the great epic. While it will begin with the epic’s events, it will end in 2898 AD.
The movie is scheduled to be released on June 27, 2024.
