The makers of Kalki 2898 AD are keeping fans updated as the movie is less than a month away from its release. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, several details about the movie have been revealed. Kalki 2898 AD is a mythological sci-fi dystopian drama. Its director teased that the movie would begin in Mahabharata and span till Kali Yug. Prabhas plays the lead role of Bhairava in the movie, while Deepika Padukone is the leading lady.
Amitabh Bachchan is portraying the role of the immortal Ashwatthama. The teaser of his role confirmed that the movie will have several elements of mythology. Kamal Haasan will be seen playing an extended cameo in the film. Vyjayanthi Movies is bankrolling the film on an alleged budget of $72 million.

The source said, “The makers plan to release the trailer in the first week of June. The team is super excited as the trailer is shaping up well. Everything that has been released so far has been received well. So, the makers have high expectations from the trailer. Final touches are being made currently, and it will soon be released.”
Kalki 2898 AD has been in production for a long time now. The movie was postponed several times before its final release date was announced. The Prabhas-led film is now all set to hit theaters worldwide on June 27, 2024.
