However, in the latest update, the makers have finally unveiled its most awaited trailer. The makers had been fuelling the curiosity of fans regarding the trailer by releasing regular posters of its cast for quite some time. As the trailer is finally out now, netizens have shared their verdict.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD features Prabhas in the lead role of Bhairava. He will be accompanied by Amitabh Bachchan, who will play the immortal Ashwatthama. Besides the two, the film also has Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan in crucial roles.
The trailer begins by introducing the world’s last city, Kaashi. While nothing is left on Earth, there is a complex hanging in the sky where there is water. It seems that the complex was made by those who stole everything from the world and created a lavish space to live in. The ticket to enter it is heavy.
Soon, Amitabh Bachchan’s Ashwatthama is revealed as an immortal power. His interaction with Deepika Padukone’s role confirms that she is pregnant with a child who has a vital future. Soon, Prabhas’ Bhairava will come to the screens and seem to be working on contracts. He is tasked with bringing a woman to the complex, partnering with Disha Patani’s character. Amid the extravagant action sequences, the trailer ends with Kamal Haasan’s first look as he warns someone about the Kali Yug.
