Kalki 2898 AD trailer has significantly increased the buzz among the audience about the film. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the mythological sci-fi drama features a vast cast playing important characters. While the viewers are left wondering, ‘Who is Kalki?’, its makers recently gave a sneak peek into Disha Patani’s role.
Disha Patani is celebrating her 32nd birthday on June 13, 2024. On the occasion of her special day, the makers have shared a brand new poster of her from the film.
Disha Patani’s role in Kalki 2898 AD: Roxie & Bhairava in a relationship?
Taking to their official social media handle, the makers revealed a picture of Disha Patani and revealed her name as Roxie in the movie. The caption read, “Wishing our Roxie, @DishPatani a very Happy Birthday.”
Prabhas also wished his co-star a happy birthday via his Instagram stories. He wrote, “Wishing you a fantastic birthday @dishapatani. Have an amazing year ahead.” Fans are seemingly thrilled to see Disha’s new look as Roxie.
While Disha’s screentime in the Kalki 2898 AD trailer is very little, it is confirmed that she plays Prabhas’ Bhairava’s ally. The actress is also expected to share the most screen space with the actor. Per the trailer, she plays a mercenary and a trained fighter. However, more insights into the actress’s role are expected soon.
Besides Prabhas and Disha Patani, Kalki 2898 AD stars Amitabh Bachchan as the immortal Ashwatthama. Deepika Padukone plays the leading lady, but her role is still a mystery to viewers. Moreover, Kamal Haasan looks unrecognizable in the trailer and is believed to be playing the lead antagonist Kali. Dulquer Salmaan is reportedly said to cameo in the film along with Vijay Deverakonda and Suriya.
